So far, I have already completed two photoshoots—a 1st genre photoshoot and a 2nd genre photoshoot. These photoshoots were assigned as mandatory by my teacher, but as I really enjoy taking pictures whenever I can, I decided to practice even more and conduct a third photoshoot! Out of the three, this photoshoot was the easiest since I had more knowledge about shots and angles, where to place main subjects (e.g. Rule of Thirds), proper lighting, etc.
That being said, when my family and I went to a local Asian Fusion restaurant, I photographed almost every dish we ordered, hence why my photos contained dishes from a wide variety of Asian cuisines. To photograph the best pictures possible, I took into account the feedback I received from my teacher and classmates from the previous two photoshoots. The images I took and my thought process while taking the photos are demonstrated below.
Final Pictures
Process
It is important to note that the final pictures above were not my first take: it took me several tries before photographing an image I was truly satisfied with. That being said, with each photo I took, I experimented with several different photography elements, such as lighting, plating, and angles, meaning my first image often looked significantly different than my final image...in a good way!
